I have half a mind in calling unemployment, but I know as soon as I do work will pick back up.
It's been sort of nice staying at home, getting to see the kids off to school, letting Rachel sleep in, getting to catch a few extra Z's myself here and there. Thank goodness I have band practice tonight though, or I would start going a little stir crazy. I should show up a few hours early for practice and get the studio in order. I have a Halloween night show and the PA is not fully operational right now.
If Monday is a bust at work I am going to start booking studio work, and if work comes up I will just cancel or reschedule the studio work. It frustrating. I wish either the sound/studio work would start filing in in enough quantity to keep me busy enough that I would not need a day job or that work would give me 40 plus and I could keep the studio as a hobby.
I have added music to my layout if you have not already noticed. It's all stuff I either performed, recorded/mixed or both. There will be a link to download stuff if you like what you hear soon.
